Beta Tau Scholarship Application

Beta-Tau of Kappa Sigma Scholarship Application 2011 – 2012

I hereby certify that my academic classification on grades and the credit taken for activities are accurate, and that I will be returning to Baker University for the succeeding term as a full-time undergraduate, taking at least twelve hours of course credit.

Further, I hereby certify that I am presently enrolled as a full-time student taking at least twelve hours of course credit in this present term.

Further, I hereby certify that I am an initiated member in good standing as defined by the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and that I am financially current with the Beta-Tau Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity *.

Further, I hereby certify that I will be residing at the chapter house during the 2011-2012 academic year **. I understand that if for whatever reason I am no longer residing at the Beta-Tau Chapter, resign or am expelled from Kappa Sigma Fraternity or withdraw as student at Baker University, any scholarships awarded, will be withdrawn.

Further, I hereby give my permission for representatives of the Financial Aid Office at Baker University to examine this application for validation purposes.

Further, I hereby give my permission for the members of the Beta-Tau Educational Trust Advisory Board to examine this application for selection purposes.

Eligibility: Member in good standing with the fraternity and university. Returning as Junior or Senior. GPA meets minimum requirements, as established by fraternity and university.
Criteria: While personal and family financial ability is noy a required criterion for this scholarship, it will be taken into consideration.

Criteria: Additional factors that will be considered are the student's contributions to the chapter, the fraternity, the school and participatin in athletics.

Criteria: Additional factors that will be considered are the student's contributions to the chapter, the fraternity, the school, and participation in athletics. Additional consideration will be given to a declared math major, or someone with an immediate family member involved in a career of law enforcement. (please describe in the "Other Activities and Honors" section.)
